By accessing or using Lux AI ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lux AI.
Lux AI is a skincare guidance tool, not a medical device or healthcare provider. All results, recommendations and routines are AI-generated and for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional for skin concerns, persistent symptoms, or before changing your skincare regimen based on our recommendations. We accept no liability for health decisions made based on our AI output.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Lux AI (14 in Spain). If you are under 16, you confirm you have obtained parental or guardian consent. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
Lux AI accepts no liability for use of the Service by minors. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the Service and any decisions made based on its output. If you become aware of a minor using the Service without appropriate consent, contact helloluxai@gmail.com.
The free tier includes 1 full skin analysis with complete results and product recommendations, and up to 3 quick scans per week. These limits may change with reasonable notice. Free tier usage is subject to fair use — systematic abuse of free limits may result in account suspension.
Plans and pricing
Prices are inclusive of applicable VAT where required by law. Final charges appear at Stripe checkout.
Billing and renewal
Paid plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You will receive a receipt from Stripe for each charge.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time by emailing helloluxai@gmail.com or by logging into your Stripe billing portal at billing.stripe.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. No partial refunds are given for unused time except as required by law.
Refund policy
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Spain's Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 (Consumer Law), you have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel and receive a full refund, unless digital content has been delivered with your prior explicit consent and acknowledgement that you lose your right of withdrawal upon delivery. To request a refund, email helloluxai@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase date. Refunds are processed within 14 days of approval.
Price changes
We will provide at least 14 days' notice of any price increases. Notice will be given by email and/or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you by email. Access may be suspended until payment is resolved.
AI skin analysis is not 100% accurate. Results depend on photo quality, lighting, skin preparation and other factors beyond our control. Confidence scores are shown to indicate reliability. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose of any analysis result. We accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on our AI output.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund where the violation is material.
All content, design, branding, technology and source code in the Service is owned by or licensed to Lux AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any photos you upload. By uploading a photo you grant Lux AI a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to process it solely for the purpose of generating your skin analysis. For analysis photos, this licence terminates immediately after your results are generated and the photo is deleted from our servers. For progress photos (Pro plan), the licence continues until you delete the photo or your account.
Product recommendations in the Service may contain Amazon affiliate links. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases made through these links, at no additional cost to you. The presence of affiliate links does not influence our AI-generated recommendations.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lux AI disclaims all warranties including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and, where applicable, the European Union. For EU consumers, nothing in these Terms removes your rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
We aim to resolve disputes informally — please contact us at helloluxai@gmail.com before initiating formal proceedings. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, without prejudice to your right as an EU consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.
